Bethlehem Lamp Recycling has developed specially designed shipping boxes to safely ship standard 4′, 6′, 8′, u-tube, compact fluorescent and HID lamps for recycling. The boxes conform to all U.S. Department of Transportation and EPA Universal Waste regulations. Simply purchase the desired quantity of boxes to meet your needs, insert the lamps you wish to recycle and ship via FedEx® to our recovery facility.
The price of the Prepaid Fluorescent Lamp Recycling Kit includes:
- Specially designed shipping box
- Freight to ship box to you
- Freight to ship box loaded with lamps to our facility via FedEx
- All costs to recycle the lamps in accordance with federal EPA and state requirements
4 Easy Steps to Regulatory Compliance
1 – Order the shipping containers
For your convenience fluorescent lamp shipping boxes can be ordered by one of the following methods (we accept Visa and MasterCard):

2 – Insert the lamps you wish to recycle. Do not crush or send broken lamps.
3 – Call FedEx (1-800-Go-FedEx) to schedule a pick up.
Our program with FedEx provides for an easily accessible and safe means for transporting used lamps to our processing facility. Mercury-containing lamps are considered Universal Waste and do not require a hazardous waste manifest.
